CHRONIC ist die junge Hardrockband aus Köln bestehend aus Alex (Schlagzeug), Dave (Keyboards), Micha (Gesang) und Wolfgang (Gitarre). Aus Spaß an harter Gitarren Musik im Jahr 1998 gegründet, kam die Band leider nie großartig über den Proberaum hinaus, so dass sie sich schließlich 2002 aus privaten und beruflichen Gründen trennt.
Die Idee CHRONIC neu zu gründen und diesmal professioneller und melodischer zu gestalten entstand nach einem Treffen von Dave, Michael und Wolfgang im Jahr 2005.
Es dauert bis Februar 2007, als sich Alex Fischer bei Wolfgang meldet und als Schlagzeuger in die Band einsteigt. Seit ihrer Neu-Gründung konnte die junge Band erste Erfolge mit Ihren Demo-Songs feiern. Von den 3 Songs, die sie im Juni 2007 produzierten, kommt vor allem der Song „Quo Vadis“ beim Publikum an. Seit Veröffentlichung bei MP3.de war „Quo Vadis“ nicht nur Teil der Top 10 der freien Downloadcharts, sondern führte 3 Tage lang sogar die Charts an. Weitere Erfolge konnten auch auf verschiedenen anderen Downloadplattformen wie z.B. Regioactive gefeiert werden.
Ihre Songs spiegeln nicht nur die verschiedenen musikalischen Einflüsse der Bandmitglieder wieder, auch die Texte sind aus dem Leben gegriffen und handeln von Geschehnissen und Erfahrungen aus ihrem noch jungen Leben. Melodische Gitarren-Rhythmen mit Ohrwurmcharakter, gepaart mit einem rauen Gesang, das ist das Markenzeichen von CHRONIC.
Derzeit arbeiten die 4 Jungs an neuen Songs für ihr erstes Album und werden sich als Teilnehmer am diesjährigen „GLOBAL BATTLE OF THE BANDS“ zum ersten mal dem Live Publikum präsentieren.

Based because of have fun at hard guitar music in the year 1998, the band doesn't get any chance to be listen beyond the training room, so that they finally separates 2002 because of private and vocational reasons.
The idea to reunite CHRONIC again, and this time more professional and more melodic arrange, developed after a meeting of Dave, Michael and Wolfgang in the year 2005.
It lasts until February 2007, when Alex Fischer announces itself to Wolfgang and enters the band as a drummer. Since their reestablishment the young band could celebrate first successes with their demo songs. From the 3 songs, which they produced in June 2007, the most famous Song „Quo Vadis “ rocks the public. Since publication on MP3.de „Quo Vadis" was not only part of the Top 10 of the free Downloadcharts, it was also No. 1 for 3 days. Further successes was also celebrated on different other downloadportals like Regioactive.
Their Songs does not only reflect the different musical influences of the band members, also the texts is seized from the life and acts of events and experiences out of their still recent life. Melodic guitar rhythms with an ear worm character, with pressureful vocals, that is the brand of CHRONIC.
At present the 4 guys works on new songs for their first album and as participants in this year "GLOBAL BATTLE OFTHE BANDS“ for the first time ever CHRONIC will rock the crowd.
